November is almost over and throughout the world people are celebrating autumn and the fall harvest. Holidays like Thanksgiving in the U.S. and olive festivals around Italy inspire us with warm colors, fruits and leaves, as well as feelings of togetherness and gratitude. What a perfect way to start the winter and the hectic holiday season. Happy harvest to you all.

Buongiorno a tutti!

The hustle and bustle of holiday preparations have begun, but that doesn't mean we can't show you a super glamorous summer wedding!

Set at the gorgeous Tuscan hideaway Il Borro, the 3-day festivities included a modern Bangladeshi ceremony and dinner, plus a classic white wedding with all the trimmings.

Check out the photos and let us know what you think!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween to all of our readers! Today we bring you some fabulous ideas for non-traditional, elegant Halloween decor! Let's get started...

First off, it's not Halloween without pumpkins! We love using them all season long, mixed with rose hips, fall foliage and seasonal flowers. Candlelight is an absolute must for creating the right ambiance, so we used lots of votives and rusted bronze candelabras for this pretty autumnal table scape.

 ......

Next we have a gorgeous table using red flowers, crystal candelabras and juicy, blood-red fruit.

Can't you see some seriously chic vampires feasting at this table? Probably not on the fruit, though....

......

This next series of images was taken at a private dinner in an ancient deconsecrated Tuscan church...using the original altar and pews as the table and seating....super spooky!

Add tons of candles, burgundy clematis trailing over everything like overgrown vines and juicy red pomegranates and you've got yourself a very "seance-ready" atmosphere!

......

Finally, a stunning table inspired by Miss Havisham, the wealthy spinster in Charles Dickens' Great Expectations. The bride had a very clear idea of the decor for her wedding, describing her vision as "a table that has been there for 100 years" and specifically citing the heiress' decaying mansion as inspiration.

This was not a "Halloween" wedding exactly, but the idea could certainly be used as a gorgeously ghostly banquette, don't you think? Especially with the touches of deep, blood red...

Have a frightfully fun Halloween everyone and stay safe!

Country Chic Castle Wedding

by Tuscany Flowers in , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Ciao to all! Sorry for the holdup, but we have been winding down the season and enjoying the beautiful fall weather here in Florence!

In June we had pleasure of working on a beautiful event in the gorgeous Castello di Brolio. The bride wanted a very natural mix of classic elegance and country chic, so we used lots of fresh, aromatic herbs, sweet peas and beautiful English roses. Here at Tuscany Flowers, we have exclusive access to over 1,000 types of locally grown Old English roses, which you may notice in the photos of our other work. You can really see and smell the difference!

We have lots more weddings lined up so check back soon!

Seaside Wedding

Ciao! Our sincere apologies for the long period of silence, but we have been so busy! The hustle and bustle of wedding season in Tuscany is winding down, so we can finally show you some of our most recent work.

What better way to mark the end of summer than with a gorgeous wedding by the sea? Marta & Marco were married on the beach in the seaside town of Piombino, in the province of Livorno, in Tuscany. They wanted to use colors like pale coral, sand and seaglass, and the wedding turned out to be dreamy, beachy and romantic. What do you all think? Feel free to leave your comments and click on the photos to enlarge!

Country Chic

This next wedding is country-chic at its absolute best- pretty, intimate and relaxed. The location was Villa Pipistrelli in Montestigliano, near Siena. They wanted the style to be very natural, as if they had made the decorations from their own home and garden. Take a look...

Gorgeous, right? Make sure to click on the photo for a larger image and feel free to leave us your comments!
Ciao for now!

Country Chic at the Four Seasons

by Tuscany Flowers in , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Buongiorno a tutti!

Apologies for not updating the blog in a timely fashion but we have been busy busy busy with all kinds of weddings and events! We would love to share a few highlights from the last few weeks that we think you all might enjoy, so have a look...

First up is a late-spring party in the pool area and garden of  the Four Seasons Florence. We used english roses, bleeding hearts and sweet peas in lovely, cheerful pinks. The mint green pots added a splash of color and fresh touch. Our white lanterns surrounded the area and lit up the edge of the gorgeous pool.

Another event, again at the Four Seasons - a country-chic style welcome dinner. Using aromatic herbs, olive trees, seasonal fruit and tones of soft purples and lavenders, the decor was intimate, casual but elegant, and enhanced the Tuscan feel of the area.

Next up in a bit, a handful of chic weddings at a popular castle location overlooking Florence...
